Where in dallas would be the best place to buy lr?

[Has anyone had any luck with the Marine Center?

Would Cleburne Marine be my best bet?

I'm looking for about 50-60 lbs of rock for my new tank.

Thanks, Matt.]

[Right now if I was in the market for live rock in dfw area, I would check with Tranquil Scape. I was there a couple of weeks ago and the had a large supply of good looking cured fiji resonably priced.]

[I bought rock from the marine center a while ago. It had little to ok coralline but it had NO bad things like aptasia, mantis shrimp, hair algea, flatworms exc. In other words sometimes less life is better in that you put in what you want or atleast have more control and not spend countless hours and money eradicating a hitchhiker problem. In this hobby good things happen slowly and if you speed things up you usually pay a price somewhere. Coralline and bacteria is all you really need on liverock. The best rock is from an established hobbiest aquarium look there first JMHO]

[I bought Fiji rock from Marine Aquarium Specialists on Plano Road yesterday. They have some very nice rock in stock, although I did pick out the best pieces for myself. :p It is only really good quality LR I have ever seen in the DFW area, unless you special order.]

I have heard that the marine center's rock has very little coraline. said:
What did you buy Base Rock? I have bought thousands of lbs of LR fom TMC and always had great coraline on it.
I have 600 lbs of it in my reefs now. I would not hesitate to order again. JME]
