Where did all the PaveStone go!?!?!?

Everybody has been talking about it but I can not find it at any Home Depot I have been to and when they looked for it in the system it was no longer there?!

I need enough to fill a 5 or 6.5 gallon bucket for a Remote Deep-Sand Bed I am trying to finish tonight.

Anyone have any left over? Or any sand?

Thanks In Advance!

There is a half pallet at the Home Depot in Allen right off 75, just bought 2 bags there. I've been reserching a remote DSB also where you have fill a 5 gallon bucket and add input/output bulkhead near the top. Is this the same design you are using?

Yes it is, the same design. I am using a 5 gallon bucket (which's previous life contained cake frosting) that I got from Tangalone (Lindsey). I looked and looked for the bulkheads today and found them at Elliot's in Plano. I am going to use 1/2" for the input (I think I purchased the last one) from a 600 or 900 MJ and the output will be 3/4". I also plan on just using regular clear tubing to get the water there and back.

Thanks for the tip. I guess I will take a drive up there tonight after I get everything else done with it.

well it's gone.
The only thing I could find was silica sand & pulverized limestone. I waiked all over the store looking for it as well.

does anyone have a spare bag?

Mike, unfortunately I gave my extra away long ago, but are you looking in the garden section? In the outdoor area, under the roof is where I found it. If I recall correctly, when I found it at the Home Depot in Plano at least, it was not near anything else like itself, kinda just.....there.....

Brian,
I was looking in the garden section under the roofed area. It's just GONE! I literally looked over the whole garden section.

Matt,
I am definately interested. When & where can we meet? I will PM my info.

Carolyn--I ran across some pulverized limestone made by someone else & it depicted a picture of someone putting down stripes for a football field. I don't know if it is different from the Pavestone brand.

I bought a bag of the Pavestone brand pulverized limestone at the Home Depot on I-75 near 15th yesterday back in the section with grass fertilizers/seeds.

Scott--the bag said "Pulverized Limestone" but there wasn't an open bag of it for me to see the texture. I'm guessing it is ground up more than the Pavestone brand.

The pulverized sandstone has etremely fine consistency; very powder like. It is as mentioned before used to lay stripes down on a playfield.

What we need and use is Pavestone 'crushed' limestone.

In this link it is paveston "pulverized limestone" in the pics. http://www.dfwmas.org/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=15394 said:
Then there are two versions of the 'pulverized' limestone. One that is the fine powder and the other the one we want? Either way I did not see that bag in the store.

Matt, thanks for the bag of Southdown. That and the other sand I had left was enough to fill the bucket. Once I remembered how to plumb a bulkhead it stopped leaking and now is plumbed into the system. I will post picks when I get my laptop back.

Lindsey,
thansk for the offer but I have it covered now. I also drove by the Home Depot on Park & DNT by where I had my lunch meeting today and decided to walk in. There was 3/4 of a pallet just right there! :x I decided I would buy a few or more bags just to have on hand but then realized I left my wallet at home!

I will probably go back later.

Hey Mike,
Does the remote DSB need time to build up bacteria before it starts working or do you see benefits after a few days :?:
