What's this?

Not sure if it is a mouth or what... It hasn't opened up really big in about 2 weeks. Any ideas?

It's a torch, but I was wondering if that is its mouth in the middle.
 
Hard. Sometimes I see very tiny tentacles come out at night and go back in very rapidly. :-/
 
I had just alway heard they were very long. These are tiny!
 
Second on that being a barnacle after the additional description if it is irritating your torch you can just super glue it shut.

I've got a torch that looks a bit like that. Big giant super scary feeder tentacles that you don't see unless its feeding and/or hungry. I about freaked the first time I got food in the tank and they snapped out right next to my hand.

I will try to get a photo of it eating and post back. Grab some coral food/smoothie/whatever and feed it. If you see something out of a Japanese horror flick, its a torch. :)

None of my hammers have big long tentacles, nor do any of my frog spawns. They still love a good meal though.

Looks a lot like this when just hanging out.
