Salinity is at 1.026
Tropic Marin kh test is 9 drops

Nothing else seems to have a problem except for the acans!!

How are you measuring salinity? Your PH is pretty low, is that the high or average. Are you spiking your alk in any way or do you maintain it at 9dKH with daily dosing. If it was the salt you would think it would affect more but not sure what all you have in your tank coral or livestock wise. Could be something nipping like saltnewbie said also but we need more data.

Cheers,

Well one of my acans went bye bye! And I've noticed that is not only my scans but whatever it is it's attacking my coral one by one! After the can it was my Duncan then my star polps! And now my zoas

my acans used to be nice and plump and i have noticed the same thing. it may be due to some pests.. i'm going to try a dip in melafix.

I had a similar problem when I recharged purigen. There must have still been some bleach even after soaking in prime and rinsing over and over. I put the bag in before going to bed and the next morning I was seeing skeletons on all my acans and my xenia was pretty much toast it did not affect any other coral.

Are you running carbon? Could be A chemical thing.

I would think pest if you recently added rock, fish, coral or some other livestock but if everything was looking great and the only thing that has changed was a water change then I would tend to think something in the water was introduced with the water change, just my 2 cents. I would run carbon.

I noticed when i switched from zeovit to carbon pellet dosing i lost my lps (acans and chalices) they started out like your pics then slowly withered away. When i went back to zeovit all my lps returned back to healthy corals.

You know what! I had 2 different kinds of carbon! I used one kind but ran out and starting using the other one! hmmmm?

When I posted carbon pellet dosing I mean carbon biopellets not activated carbon. If you are doing bipellets that be a reason for lps not doing well

ok last night i got up and looked in my tank with a flash light.. there are little pest crawling everywhere. i saw a little orange maggot looking one. little ones crawling on my zoas. how do i get rid of them?

Have a LFS test your water.
IMO this is a water quality issue.

If you are dosing a carbon source - follow the directions to the T -and if all is in line - call the manufacturer of your probiotic system for help.
