[Hi
I just got a new tank and i want to paint underneath the canopy white. I also want to put on a coat of polyurethane.
Is there a certain kind of this stuff i should get or does it matter. What do you like to use?

[I would put on a couple of coats of Kilz to seal the inside then go over that wilth an acrylic gloss white. Stain the outside and apply a couple good coats of poly.]

[They make a marine paint. I think it is polyurethane base.

I remember now it is an epoxy marine paint.]

[Ok so out of the marine paint and the Kilz + acrylic witch one would be better and easier to use. Witch one will take less time.

[Went to lows today to get some paint so i could get started on my canopy They had a hole lot to pick from. I went with the American Tradition by Valspar. I didnt know witch one to get so i got one can of exterior 100% Acrylic & one can of interior. On the can of exterior it says it gives a Mildew Resistant coating. Out of the two witch one should i use? I hope this is the right stuff, KILZ 2 Latex interior/exterior water-base. This paint stuff is tricky, way to much to pick from.
