What salt do you use?

Just like the topic says: what salt do you use? I've been using Kent, but I'm disappointed in the quality of the product and VERY disappointed in the 'customer service' I've received from them.
TIA!

I used Instant Ocean for years, recently switched to Reef Crystals since the price is so close, and have been happy with it...

Of course, I've also been known to mix up 5 different brands in one bucket and use that too... :) (From all the samples of different salts I got at MACNA)

was using instant ocean. after hearing what others were saying about red sea pro i switched over about 2 months ago. i really have not seen any big changes in my tank, other than the higher concentration of calcium levels due to the high amount in the salt mix. the red sea pro also mixes very well when i get ready to do my water changes. other than that i dont see anything that significant about red sea pro. later on i might try switching over to reef crystals and stay.

currently using Kent... BUT I'm working through a couple buckets bought before they started having problems.

Will be switching once used up.

i was using instant ocean and had a problem with cyano....now that i switched to red sea pro salt my cyano has dissapeared from my tank.

I dont think it really matters as long as you stick with the brand to keep some consistantsy in the tank.

Personally I like Kent salt but when you need three buckets at a time its hard to get a group buy going because of the bad batch that happened last time. That batch caused my alkalinity and pH to drop significantly.

So... we're using Reef Crystals too since everyone else is using it here on the forum. Still I think Kent salt is a good product.

If you saw the presentation at MACNA lat year you wouldn't think they were all the same.

I used HW Marinemix for years but when I set the 450 up I switched to Reef Crystals. I couldn't afford HW on the 450

Still using Kent, and will be for years to come. I've got a garage full of the stuff. Plus Red Sea Pro Salt and several boxes of TAAM's Ocean Pure.

Is there anyone out there that can enlighten us as to what the results are up to this point on the salt study that some of the professionals are conducting? :?

I would be really happy just to find out a site or link where I could go and follow what they are doing and the things they have discovered so far. :)
