What pump do I need for a 75 gallon tank?

I just brought home a 75 gal reef ready tank, and I dont know what kind of pump I need to get... This is my first RR tank so I really dont know what kind of pump to use.. I need help on this bc the pump is the only thing I'm missing .. Thanks for looking[/u]
 
I'm assuming you're asking about a return pump. I have a Eheim 1250 for a return on my 75g. You could also go with a Mag7. The Eheim is a much quieter and energy efficient pump.
 
Mag pumps are not the most energy efficient, but they are work horses. They are very reliable IMHO. I would go with a Mag 7. A Mag 9.5 would probably be overkill.
 
I would not suggest the larger rio pumps, check out all the LFS's and I highly doubt you will find a Rio anywhere in their system's. Mag pumps add a lot of heat to the water, if you really want reliability, longevity and low heat transfer...try a Eheim 1260 pump.
