What medium do you use in your reactor?

Use Schuran. No complaints yet. Like the large size of it.

Will also be adding a little ZeoMag shortly for the Magnesium.
 
I am running arm in a single chamber 5" X 16". I like the thought that the arm gives you a tremendous amount of surface area, but the fact that it can make mush in your reactor is not appealing at all. I am going to have to keep thinking.
 
I'm about to hook up a Precision Marine to my 105g and a buddie gave me a bag of CaribSea "GeoMarine Argonite Formula", should I run that? I noticed that everyone prefers ARM with ZeoMag. Anyone have some good info on this brand, and would it really benifit rather than CaribSea?

I use ARM as well, and it has never turned to mush yet. It gets replaced every 6 to 8 months. My reactor is 50% empty right now and it was only filled up around 2 months ago. I'm shocked. I'll let it go a little longer, and then clean it out and fill it up again.

I guess all the growing corals are to blame. :lol:
