What kind of anemone is this?

It came on the shell of a snail I got at the LFS. Just wondering if its bad and I need to kill it or not. It is a really cool neon green color though :D Thanks,

it's about as wide as a quarter. Sometimes it will stretch out about 1.5-2". So if this is the Majano anemone, is it bad? I'm confused by that link because you said it was a pest anemone, but someone wanted you to ship a few to him? So should I get rid of it while there is only one in there? Thanks Marc,

Mike - If it is a Majano, Majano's are like the Tribbles from the infamous Star Trek episode... They're cute, and "easy to keep"... And soon... Cool! I've got another one! Wow! Now 4! About the time you get 8 you start to get concerned, next thing you know they're popping up all over the place taking over your tank...

Some people (Rather inscrupously IMHO) sell them on eBay... Some people like them, and they're not inherently "bad", they can just easily and rather quickly reproduce out of control...

(Note - This is all if the one on that snail is a Majano, I'm don't know if it is or not...)

Hrmm.. neon green under actinics or moonlghts doesn't necessarily mean bad guy. My GBTA flouresces a cool neon green, too :)
