What eats ??

Nudibranchs can. I have a picture somewhere of a big one that was a leather eater. Crabs can pick at it. Worms can chew their way through it. Fish can nip at it.

Could be dropping a frag. Leathers will drops pieces of themselves to reproduce. I had a devils had that would do this all the time.

It must have been something fairly large Marc, as I could see pieces gone by the day. Nudibranch maybe ?? I saw some strange black looking nudi in there, but have been avoiding breaking down some rock to look for it. Everything else seems ok.

I've seen large Blue Tangs eat leathers before. As well as many species of angels and butterflies. What fish/invertebrate inhabitants do you have?

I don't take many pics these days. My camara stinks and I don't even know how to post them if I did. Hooterhead I do have 3 pygmies and 1 Regal Angelfish. Who knows?? Everything else is fine though.
