What do you feed Hammers, Frogspawn ( LPS )

I really haven't had any real trouble with my coral just want to make sure I am doing everything I can to make sure they thrive in my tank.

What do you feed your hammer, frogspawns, bubble coral, and brains.

I currently feed a mixture hoping everything is getting what it needs .
( phyto, cyclopeze, brine shrimp, krill, and sea food mixture )

I do not spot feed should I ?

i recommend feeding at night after the lights go off. most corals get their food thru photosynthesis (98%), so it doesn't take much, but at night they do extend their feeding tentacles to capture food particles like plankton. this is also when corals grow. i would recommend something a bit more larger and "meatier" like fritz's invertabrate food, Two little fishies' Marinesnow or DT's oyster eggs.

They will eat larger things also. I used to feed my hammer and brains mysis and silversides all the time. They ate them up! Phyto is to small. They are mostly zoplankon eaters. Light helps also.

I started squirting Liquid Life marine plankton or coral food. It takes a couple of squirts depending on your tank size. It sticks to them and my green frogspawn has doubled since I've been doing this.

That is the stuff that people feed their gonioporas successfully, so I thought I'd try it. I don't have any gonis but my frogspawn and candy cane love it.

While is certainly doesn't hurt anything, I have never direct fed my frogspawn in five and a half years. IMO it is just extra food waste in the tank.
