What could of possibly happened?

Well two days ago i got a BTA for my 90g sps/lps tank. I know the norm is not to add one with alot of coral in it, but i just was gonna move most of it out of the way if the BTA did move towards it. Anyways, i was in my bed lookin at my tank and everything was perfect especially the BTA. It had not moved since I placed it in the bottom right hand corner. All of a sudden i hear my return pump running dry(when i just checked it this morning and it was aobve the line i have it marked at). and my BTA was all shrivled up like it does when it releases its waste(water i guees).all my other corals were still perfect. Am i just worrying or could something have possibly happened.

It sounds like the overflow was clogged. Did the anemone get sucked in accidentally?

no he is on the totally opposite side of the tank. in the corner. i got the sump goin again, and the anemone is now still deflated with its mouth open, with a little bit of brown stuff. i know bta's deflate everyonce in a while to release their waste and poop out stringy bnrown stuf.. thats what im praying is happening.
