appears to be a candy cane coral....not sure of the exact type.

I would wait to hear from others first though before taking my word.

Sand or mid tank is cool... they do grow slow though so it will be awhile until you an frag it

well, actually i have (1) 1 1/2 polyp (i think) that broke off that i can give to whoever want it for helping me. not sure if it will make it, but it's worth a try. so if anyone want it come and get it. i will be flying out tomorrow night so it will have to be tomorrow before 7pm. again, thanks all for your help.
