...and saw quite possibly the biggest Moorish Idol I have ever seen in a tank, not at the aquarium.

The body was the size of my hand, just going to town on a seaweed clip. Got me wondering, anyone else have a Moorish? Or the infamous non-eater Achilles?

yeah i saw him on friday and WAS NOT eating according to staff. good to see that he is eating! i would also like to know if anyone has a moorish or achilles?

Cross fingers, knock on wood, etc... But I've had an Achilles the last 6 months. He's doing well, but now that I've posted this he'll prob be dead tomorrow. [smilie=smile.gif]

i had a idol for i little over two years , but one day he thought that coral looked yummy and i had to part ways with him, i hope one day i will get another. great fish

That sucks, SPS. I have always wanted a Moorish, achilles, hybrid powder blue, pretty much all the non eaters. I figure limiting myself to a 90G would be a smart idea to keep me from trying and failing.

We tried to keep an achilles twice. Both lasted about 2.5 years before they died. Eating was never an issue. They broke out a lot. They were in an aggressive tank they probably would have done better in a reef.

Ive wanted an aggressive tank for some time. Ive always liked triggers, angels, butterflies, etc. Especially the Crosshatch Triggers.
