Website for Algea Eaters

[Tremelle]

While doing some research on a Foxface I am considering buying, I ran across a website that listed the different types of algeas by category. It also provide a list of animals that would eat the various algeas. I found it to be very informative since there are various types of algeas that we encounter in our systems over time. Now I know what inhabitant to use to attack a particular type of algea. Here is the link, http://www.saltcorner.com/sections/guest/algaepage/algaepage.htm. I hope you find this site of benefit like I did.

Great website. Helped me identify the turf algae that has been taking over the center rock in my display. Now I just have to decide what to do about it. It mentions several fish that will eat the turn algae, but I don't want to add a fish to my bioload right now, especially if it is something in there just to care of what I hope is a temporary problem. Maybe a sea hare will work.... Thanks for the site it looks like a great resource.

Moderators: Could this be worthy of a sticky for future reference for all?
