This morning our water had a very bad odor, so I talked with the city water department. It seems that due to the lack of rain they switched water sources from Eagle Mountain to Richland Chambers. They are putting additional chlorine and chloramine into the system because the pipes running from Richland Chambers lake have not been used in some time. While they say it is safe, I know there was a member here that had a problem with city water causing a problem with their RO/DI filter. Make sure to check your topoff water before you use it if you are serviced by the city of Fort Worth.
