Ok,

I saw (don't laught) a 2" Niger Trigger at PetCo by my house for $22. I was shopping for doggie treats, but I have always loved the Niger Trigger and wondered if a 90 flat back hex would be suitable for at least the next 2 years or so ?

Also, I am interested in the following...

Flame Angel
Coral Beauty
Leopard Wrasse
Sand Sifter goby
False Perc Clownfish (pair)

Are these fish compatible in a lightly stocked reef ( a few SPS) ?

Niger triggers get to 8-12" depending on your luck. The minimum tank size I've been recommended is 75g... and they only grow about an inch per year so no hurry if you'd need an upgrade. Although that would be a good excuse for an upgrade if you get hit with the bug.

what about a Niger as the first fish after having had only Damsels for over a month ?

Will the Trigger be okay for a time by himself ?

Generaly they are on the tamer side of triggers but triggers are aggressive in general so it's iffy. I would add it last personally but with it being that small you might choose to risk it. Do know that Nigers aren't reef safe and will munch snails and shrimp and it's not unknown for them to eat small fish when they get bigger.
