wall hammer help

Hey everyone I got a wall hammer from DNA a 3 weeks ago from a rescue tank. One end had lost about 1inch of hammers and it I thought it would be fine but after two weeks the other end is slowly dying off, I check my parameters and everything looks good I do a 10% water change every week and my branch hammer, frogs pawns all look healthy and thriving but this wall hammer is not. Anyone had ideas how to stop the heads from dying off? I'll upload a pic tonight

Do a 50/50 solution of your saltwater and hydrogen peroxide. Soak it in the solution for several minutes. You an repeat each day until it heals. If its too far out, it will not help.

I had something similar happen to mine. I just put in into a place it liked and waited it out. Lost most of the coral, but it is healing and has regained color in the 1/4th of the coral that is left. However the die of was not due to brown jelly.

yes you will need to dip the entire coral in the solution from say 2-3 minutes. The first thing you will need to do is to turn off all your pumps before you move the coral. This is to keep the brown jelly disease from spreading to your other corals. If that brown jelly gets on any other lps, it will most likely kill it. So be very carefull when removing. One way is to put a cup in the aquarium and move the coral into the cup before you take it out.

The first thing you will want to do is place the coral over the sink and pour tank water over it to remove the flesh from the coral. Once you have removed the dead brown jelly flesh. Then you can soak it in the solution. The solution is only to heal the coral and kill the brown jelly.

Put it back in the aquarium for two days and repeat if necessary.
