Vortech master-slave help needed

I have two mp10's on a 30 gallon cube and am having trouble setting them on master-slave. I dont have any trouble until the very end when I "reset the master". When I reset the master the slave pump is suppose to reset as well and begin doing what the master tells it to do. The only thing is that the slave does not reset...it continues to flash yellow and blue. After that the slave is stuck on flashing yellow and blue and I have to unplug it to get it to stop. I have tried this a couple of times with no luck does anyone have any ideas of how to fix this. They are both mp10 ESW's.

Page 36 explain's the process. You can do a firmware check also by powering off/on, when the driver first starts up it blinks gree and blue...count the number of times it blinks for each color( example: blinks twice gree and once blue = firmware version 2.1) http://ecotechmarine.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/FULLMANUAL_Revision1.1.pdf
