@wnewsom has really helped club step up its game and wait until you see the gorgeous moving flyer he has created for an upcoming event. It's being reviewed by hosting LFS, so I'll just have to tease you with the news to be on the lookout to see DFWMAS raising the bar higher thanks to Wes!

TIPS for CREATORS of MOVING FLYERS:
- include DFWMAS logo and when space permits also these words
- www.dfwmas.org
- hobby club
- Dallas Fort Worth Marine Aquarium Society (DFWMAS)
- event date, time and location
- logos for other business entities (as appropriate and space)
- IF a zoom monthly meeting, convert zoom link into QR code but also still include meeting ID and passcode
- end of moving flyer, let it have no special effects
- esp if QR code on moving flyer, as effect could interfere with someone using QR code
- get draft approved before making any other formatted moving flyers (& 1 still) for same event, examples:
- website will take formats like any below:
- FaceBook, Instagram, YouTube shorts and regular YouTube. Not TikTok links
- FaceBook:
- event needs a snapshot still image at least 400 pixels wide of moving
- reels and videos flexible (assuming still at least 400 pixels wide)
- landscape 1920x1020 works well but not required by FB
- YouTube
- shorts want 1020x1920 tall and 30fps and 5-30 second ideal timeframe (5, 15 or 30 so stitch better)
- moving flyers should be shorts so going forward promotional keeps out of actual videos
- center QR code as playing of short may have YouTube verbage over moving flyer
- TikTok at least 15 seconds or will not post, 1020x1920 but not as pixel strict as YouTube shorts

- Instagram 1020x1020 (or anything square) shows best
- website will take formats like any below:
