I started dosing (3rd day) and in reading, ran across a problem I hadn't considered. I have a rock full of xenia, and xenia thrives off "dirty water." If my water becomes "clean" will it kill off the xenia?
Vodka doesn't clean your water. It helps stimulate the anaerobic bacteria to double or triple in population where the bacteria colony will start consuming large amound of nitrates. If vodka does help clean your water, that's good information to know.
What will wipe out your xenia is changes to your dKH and pH.
