Very First Coral

Today, I bought my very first coral. It is a green mushroom anemone. Im soo hyped. lol. I was getting some more liverock and had to look at the corals behind me. So now i have one little mushroom. I am hopeing that my puffer will dislike the taste of anemone. <- the reason why I havent had any corals. He's not very interested in it, least right now. My mushroom has already anchored himself and is kinda starting to open. Thanks for listening to me. I had to share. Im so excited! lol
 
Hey Rose, welcome to the addiction, er, hobby. I'm afraid your puffer will limit the corals you can keep, as you already know, evidently. If he leaves your mushroom alone, I'll give you a few of mine to add to your collection. The only drawback is you have to come here and peel them off the rock for me. It's my way of getting others to do my tank maintenance for me :)

I've got red and green shrooms that are overgrowing their assigned section and stinging their neighbors.

We have some extra blue/green mushrooms that we would be willing to frag off for you since you are just starting. Also might be able to start you with some GSP (Green star polyp) if you want to also. PM us if you want to. Good luck and great to see you enjoying the new addition.
