I understand that UV sterlizers aren't picky about what they kill, but I'm unclear on certain things. I have an AquaMedic 5W UV sterlizer that I use when needed for QT or new fish... or like now the bubble algae issue in my 40. So I set it up last night so that it can help with the destruction of the bubble algae spores in the tank. But I have a lot of sponges and this small hitchhiker clam and I'm concerned about whether this will have an affect on them as well. Any experience you've had with them or what you know would be helpful. Thanks.
