Using the refugium to "quarantine" new fish - What are yall's thoughts?

[Now let me first say that I fully understand the idea of having a seperate tank to quarantine fish.

For those who do not have a seperate QT tank, I think using the refugiuim to quarantine new fish is an excellent idea. It is a pretty stress free environment seeing how there are no other fish in the fuge to bother the new fish...there is also a natural food source with pods, plus places to hide with all the macro and rock (if you have some in your fuge). This way the fish can get used to your water conditions and get individual attention for feeding...without having to worry about other fish bullying it over food. Now obviously this won't work as a hospital tank if dosing medicine will work.

Thoughts? ???]

[well I guess I have been lucky and have bought all healthy fish from my lfs...this idea is being thrown out for the people who do not have a seperate tank for QT. The fact of the matter is that a large majority of people do not have a seperate tank for running QT and end up acclimating new fish and throwing them straight into the display.]
