I would cycle the new tank with a couple peices of your living rock and a little sand if your using any. complete the cycle then make the transfer. the dead rock and sand will have to be re esatablished. use one powerhead for circ, and maintain your temp, and wait 3-4 weeks. test for nitrites, ammonia.
