Unused Saltwater - how long good for after mixing?

I have about 60 gallons in total of salt water that I never used after mixing it up. Been about a week since. Has been turning with a powerhead at all times though.

Does this water stay good or does it go bad if not put to good use after a period of time?

i.e. can I put the water in buckets and use it for subsequent water changes?
 
I think you can use it after mixing it for quite some time. I think it is better though if it is kept aerated somehow.
 
this also brings up a question about my QT tank. It is a 30g that I will not have live rock in. I take out the bio-wheel and float it in my main display sump between uses (obviously with the exception if I use chemicals in the QT).

during the time that no fish or biowheel is in place, the tank will just be running with saltwater.

do most people in this case just empty out the tank between uses instead of using the same water? I imagine more than 2 weeks will pass between each use for me.
 
The water should be good in the quarantine tank, due to circulation.
