[Just took a couple of pictures of my two tanks, and thought you might enjoy them. The first tank is from the side of my 29g, and the second shot is a section of my 55g.

[Hanging out, sharing its space with a tiny piece of Sun Coral that I'm hoping to revive. It has 2 polyps left on the skeleton, so I took it home in case there was a chance.

The Clam has been growing a beard of thick hair algae, oddly enough. I pulled some off today because it was getting out of hand.]

[Marc, your tanks look really pretty. Is your little clam in one of those pics? Clams are becoming one of my favorites.

[very nice looking, I'm suprised the torch (frogspawn, whatever it is) in the 29 doesn't sting the $%^$^ out of that softie next to it or the pora above it!

great looking tanks!]

[Thanks Cindy.

Nautilus, the sun coral is a golf ball sized skeleton with 3 polyps still alive at the base. I got it at Fish Paradise for $2, to see if I could feed one successfully. If those little polyps respond and improve, it gives me more inclination to get a full sun coral one day. I love their look, but for the most part have always assumed they are too much trouble.

mwolek, the thing you are calling a frogspawn is actually a frilly mushroom. You can't see the frogspawn in that picture, but it is visible in this one, taken a two weeks ago:

[Marc, your clam is such a vivid blue and really adds to your tank. Your've done an awesome job. I think some of my things need to be relocated. I think my polyps and pearl bubble are being stung by my flaming coral and frogspawn. They seem to just keep stretching and stretching until they reach something and then they stick to it.

Have you seen Ricks gigantic clam. It is truly amazing. The biggest one I've ever seen.

Cindy]

[I love my clam... been with me almost two years, and continues to grow. Rick's Derasa is amazing!!! I saw it a month ago, and it is immense. It was the biggest I've seen in a hobbyists aquarium.

Cindy, if you ever got to Dallas World Aquarium (in West End), there are clams so big you could put a child in them! Not that I'm advocating such practices...

Scott, they are truly pervasive beasts. I give them to people on a regular basis, and they leave smiling. Little do they know...(muah ha ha!) Actually, I warn every person of the scourge they are, but they love the color. :uhoh:

mwolek, (btw, what's your name again? It isn't in your signature line) those frilly mushrooms were originally ID'd as ricordia. To call them frogspawn now is actually pretty funny. :laugh long:]

[Tommy, it is an Electric Blue Tridacna maxima, and it has been in my 29g under 165w of PC lighting for 21 months.]

[lol, My name is Mark...guess I need to update that.

Now that I know what it is, it looks like a mushroom again. At first glance, not seeing its base and being a close up shot my first thought was frogspawn lol...]

[Mark, the info to change your signature line is detailed in the FAQ page above.]

[Thanks Marius.

Today, I just noticed the one of the frilly mushrooms is splitting. It was impossible to get a picture due to the angle, but I did take a few anyway. Maybe when it is done I can post the split and then what it looks like when it is done. And of course I've got some previous shots saved. :)]
