Tunze Wavebox

Where is the best place to get one of these? I'm a little hesitant to buy from Reefcentral, so if anyone has some expierence buying one of these let me know. :D

Thanks

I just got mine in from marinedepot.
Price is about the same everywhere, but the backorder was killer  I had to wait 3 or 4 weeks to get it in. I read on ReefCentral that backorders are commom right now from most vendors.

I believe his name was Jimmy Wall, but not sure the store name, never went there.

Saw this:

Then scrolled down and saw that you had already seen it too.

Whatever happened to that guy south of FT Worth that sold Tunze equipment? said:
Try contacting Brad Ward, Bill.

there was a link that Nathen posted a while back of a place that sold new units cheaper then most people. If there not in stock I believe Reefexotics.com has them in stock and he will probably match the price.

Can someone describe the flow that comes out of the wavebox? I know it makes a wave, but is the stream intense like a 6060?

I know its a long way, but you are welcome to come see my wavebox next visit to the DFW area. I am out by the Airport. Just send me a PM and I can let you see it in operation. Hard to describe but easy to see.

Bill basically it is the same flow that comes out of any Tunze stream. The secret is the pump turning off and on and the water refilling the box it is enclosed in.
