What skimmer would you recommend for a 20 gallon reef?

Tunze Nano

or

Aqua C Remora?

Any other skimmers to consider? I'm not going sump, so it has to be a in display skimmer

Was just seeing if I could find a used Tunze Nano. Didn't think I would but just a try. I'll buy one new if I go that route if I can't find one used.

I went to AquaTek in Austin and they said both were good skimmers, but the Aqua C they said was a little loud and the Tunze was quieter. But they recommended both. So I'm still debating.

I've already found a couple used Aqua Cs but still just trying to make up my mind.

Were you thinking of going with the Tunze nano pack or just the skimmer? I have the nano pack and love it. Very quiet and the filter does a good job of skimming the surface water. I had the aqua c pro on my 75gal and I found it to be very loud. I ended up biting the bullet and spending the money on a Tunze Reefpak 500.

i assume with that size tank, you are referring to the Tunze DOC Nano model 9002. I have the 9005 on my 58g and it is VERY quiet and does a great job.

also, i go it at Mid-Cities Aquariums in Euless, the 10% discount for members DOES apply to Tunze equipment.
