I purchased a tunze 6055 with a 7091 controller. I am looking to buy another 6055, what will I need to operate both pumps on this controller....or can I? I want it in some type of alternating fashion. Thank you!

if you want to use the 7091, you will need a tunze splitter ... that won't let you control the pumps independently of each other ... i.e. if you set the controller to surge to 100% and go to 30%, both pumps will do that ... if you want the pumps to act independently of each other, you will need a 7095 or 7096, or some type of controller like an apex, profilux or reef keeper

if you need a splitter i have i can sell you that i am not using anymore

So a Tunze splitter will do that surge. Thanks Carabelli, hopefully I will have the funds to upgrade to a 7095 or 7096 in the future. Are there various models of splitters? I have been looking and found some, just want to make sure I get the correct one.

that I know of, there is only one splitter ... all it does is split the signal from the controller into 2 signals so you can send it to 2 pumps ... works great and is a nice alternative to buying a 7095 - good luck.
