TrueLumen Pro dimmer switch

I was wondering if anyone knew if TrueLumen PRO LEDS had a dimmer switch. I bought them from Frank at Franks Tanks but he was with a customer and his helper was unsure. I can send pics if needed. Also if they don't, does anyone know if there is another brand of dimmer that might be compatible? Thanks all!

Ok thanks I saw that on their website also which is why I was wondering if others are compatible. said:
You can outfit these to dim but then the question becomes.....why. I don't think you will gain anything by dimming these but this is just my opinion. [smilie=smile.gif]

I have 1 truelumen strip over my frag tank, along with 2 t5s, and I cannot imagine ever dimming it. I would like to know if there is a way to increase the light output, though. It is not too much light for the coral that is 6 inches beneath it!

I just wanted to dim them because I leave them on all night for when my daughter goes to get water or use the bathroom and wanted to dim them just a tad at night. I love them full blast don't get me wrong, I just want to dim it down a bit at night. Is it ok to leave them on 24/7?

That would be cool! I don't know why you couldn't leave them on all the time. I guess they would wear out sooner, but dimmed down, maybe not so much. They might be dim enough for a night light already, though, right?

i got a dimmer for the Exotic LEDs from Aquatic Solutions in arlington and it works great on by true lumin blue as well. If you still want to dim it.

I was just wondering the same question... But I was wanting a dimmer to turn down my LEDs as to acclimate them a little better. They didn't do well with a 6 hr time (t5's coming on an hr before and after) as it was too much. Makes sense, just got excited when I bought em and wanted them running as much as possible. But now they're only
On the last two hrs of the day and I was thinking a dimmer would help me turn in em
Down and run for longer periods of time. I was jw if I am wrong in my thinking or any ideas or advice is appreciated! Thanks!
