Trouble with my new mp10

I just bought a mp10w Es from DNA this past weekend. I set it up just as the instructions said, but I can't turn up the speed past the fourth light dot. It starts to vibrate really loud and sounds like its going to explode. I tried to move the wet side around to align it but it has no effect. The tank it is on is a dsa 34 gallon neo nano tank. It has 3/8" thick glass. Any advice or experiences with this?
 
Was it used or new. If used sounds like bearings is going out.

yeah im going up there wednesday, i just wanted to make sure that it wasnt something i was doing before I go up there.
