Trapezia Pocillopora/Acropora Crab (Trapezia sp.)

I got two of these from Live Aquaria but one was DOA and the other lasted one week.

Does anyone know if I have to actually place the crab on an Acropora/Pocillopora? Will the crab choose its own coral? How big does the coral have to be for the crab?

I thought these would be more like the blue porcelain crabs I have which are doing fine. I am not sure about the commensal nature of the crab and coral even after reading the blurb on Live Aquaria.

I would like to try for 2 again but I need more information.

Dear Barton,

Thank you for contacting Drs. Foster and Smith's LiveAquaria. You would not need
to put the crab directly on the coral, however you would want to place it near
the coral so it will be easier for the crab to locate it. The coral should be at
least twice the size of the crab. The crab will feed on detritus, excess meaty
food particles that land on the coral, and the coral's secreted mucus. Again, in
regards to the mucus, this just means that the mucus that the coral secretes the
crab will eat.

They told me they would give me credit on my next order. I think they would credit my card but I have to call the Customer Service Center for that.
