Too much LR?

Is there such a thing as too much LR? I picked up a tank and got a bunch of LR with it and dropped it into my main tank. Is there such a thing as too much LR in the tank? I have to search through to find my fish and was thinking of taking some out.. I also have a bunch in my sump... if I took some out from my main display should I just drop it in my sump? Is there a point where it's just not as beneficial? I have a couple extra power heads if the only concern is water movement.

Thanks.

If it interrupts water flow and aides in the collection of ditritus, then I would say you have too much.

And there are plenty of reef friendly fish that like open spaces to swim in as well.

Additionally real estate may become an issue down the line. Less is more, to a point.

I had quite a bit of LR left over and threw it in my sump. 5 months later I had a good layer of ditritus both on the rocks and on the base of the sump.

Throw a powerhead in there for some circulation on the bottom and you should be fine. Just keep deadspots/stagnant flow to a minimum and you're good to go.

I think I have some small dead spots in the middle of the tank.. rock work is shaped like a U. Do you have any advice about moving the water in that area?
