To redo my closed loop or not

[Currently I have a Mag 12 running on a closed loop with a SCWD with all 3/4" PVC. The outputs are loclines with "fan" ends.

I use this to create flow behind the rocks and it seems to work pretty well but I know the flow is like 1/2 what it could be.

So I have a couple options.

1) Keep waiting for the 1" SCWD to come out and leave what I have for now.

2) Don't wait, use existing SCWD with 1 1/2" piping everywhere (does it matter that the locline is 3/4"?)

3) Wait for Christmas money and get an oceans motions Squirt and totally redo my closed loop with 4 outputs.

Rank them for me!]

[3, 2, 1.

An alternative to #2 is to do what I did. Work up your plumbing the way you want it and put a T where you will want the SCWD. Then when, or if :) , the new 1" SCWD comes out you can, you can cut out the T and install the SCWD.]

[I like #3 personally... the only thing to remember is the capacity of the Squirt. It'll lock-up at about 1300 GPH so if you go to a larger pump in the future you may have to T it off to keep the squirt functioning.]

[I would highly recommend the Squirt. I switched from a SCWD to a Squirt on the same pump and ended up rlocating the sandbed, various frags, etc... Last night I saw something moving and figured out one of the 4 outlets flow was actually lifting a softball size rock covered in xenia  I would highly recommend the Squirt. It will handle your pump with no problem. I'm planning on going with two Squirts on the 110 when it gets up and running :D]
