Since I scrapped my previous 3 builds since January 10, 2009 I thought I would document this one.

I will add pictures on livestock later.

Blue chromis died. That was a beautiful blue fish.

I took off the Coralife 65 and replaced with a large HOB Aquafuge with deep sand bed and two big balls of chaeto. The Aquafuge is powered by a modified MJ600 with a small air pump injector (Hawkeye 201) that puts the air in the intake so the impeller shreds the bubbles into micro bubbles.

I also added more rock.

Pictures of livestock.

I put some turtlegrass in the Aquafuge and put a 14w light on top.

I will be looking for another bulb but the fixture seems like a good size.

Fish all seem happy and even the Royal Gramma comes out now.

Here is a picture of my planted Aquafuge. The turtle grass is on the left. The other stuff is chaeto.

Update as of May 7, 2009. Only two fish today. I moved the Chalk Basslet. I thought he might be getting bullied by the hogfish. The others vanished.

I'd like to follow this more but have trouble bringing up the photo links. Could you put tags around the photos or select the last item in the photobucket menus to paste into the posts? It would make viewing much more pleasing. Thanks

nope, I still didn't get that picture.

In photobucket, you get the drop down menu that appears under each photo. The last choice is IMG. Select that entire string and paste it directly to your post.

Here's one of mine. First the photo:

Then the text of the line: (the / from the closing /IMG tag was removed for this text to be seen.)

alt="October2008034-1.jpg" class="bbcode_img" />

BINGO!

Now, just go to edit each of the previous posts and put
around each photo link and they should work. If not, copy and paste the text again from the photobucket links.

It looks real nice.

The 20 long has great proportions. If you keep the scale of everything small you could be fooled into thinking this is a much larger tank from a distance.
