This is Ich right? SHES OUT OF THE HOSPITAL! pics

She has had this for a week now and it is getting worse. She is getting garlic with her food once a day and the water is in great condition. It is making little holes behind her head.

Looks more like velvet, some one else might chime in. If it is you need to get the fish into copper asasp.

Thanks, I did not think of Velvet. I hasve rasied the temp to 82 degrees and turned the lights off. I f it does not get better in a day or so i will go with more salt and copper dip.

actually i think you want to go less salt do hypo treatment for ich, and i would of left the tank temp alone or went cooler as higher temp stresses the fish.

Not really. If you want to try and save the clown you need to treat it in copper. Can't do that in your reef tank.

Get a cheap rubbermaid container and treat the fish in that. Make sure to keep an eye on the water params and do a partial change often.

Thanks guys. i am going to do a water change on my 240 and use that water for the tube and treat her with copper. Or do i want to take the water out of the tank she is in.

OK, She is doing great and looking alot better. She has been hospitalized since Friday evening and took her second dose of seachem copper tonight. Thanks for the advice and help. She is almost 8 years old and I did not want to lose her.
