Think I went overboard with nano skimmer size. Ha!

This beauty was waiting on me when I got home today. Bubble magus NAC5E. It's basically a NAC7 (180 gallons)thats HOB. Same pump and almost identical size. Rated for 135 gallons, pulls 500 liters of air per hour. If anything I increased the water capacity of the JBJ 28 HQI nano. :p

What ya think?

Worst instructions ever. I think I speak better Chinease than they do English. (JK, I don't speak any chinese thats not on a menu)

I have a nac 8 and absolutely love that skimmer. It is on the small side given its performance. So far for me it has been a great skimmer. Some folks have concerns about the pump. Haven't had any issues with mine, knock on wood.

These two pics are NOT mine. Just borrowing them to show size. I forgot to take pics before installation..

Yeah that thing is huge for a hang on skimmer for a nano! Not horrible though since I think my skimmer has that same pump and I only have maybe 40 gallons total system volume on mine.

Gives me a great idea.

Creating retrofit kits to convert full size insump skimmers, to HOB.

Let's put an ASM G4+ on that sucker :D
