After a month of hanging out six inches away from it, my female percula finally discovered the GBTA. This was a lot of fun to watch -- neither her nor the anemone know what to think of each other at this point -- kind of like two hedgehogs trying to engage in foreplay.
Every time she gets up the courage to touch it, the anemone pulls back, and she darts back startled. Then she has to rush off to see if there's any food, and make sure her boyfriend remembers whose in charge, but 30 seconds later, she's back hovering in front of the anemone trying to figure it out.
I posted a short video clip here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xorQ8n1nlrw - apologies for the quality (handheld cellphone).
The anemone is in its normal spot, but usually it has its whole oral disk craned out under the lights; tonight it's pulled back into its cave, hoping to be left alone. Fully extended, it's about 6 - 7 inches across.
