My temperature reading on my AC JR controller has suddenly got stuck at 122?

What may the problem be, the probe?

Anyone else have a similar problem?

How to troubleshoot this?

The unit is in use for a mere 4 months?

if its the old, small style probe, there were problems with them and they have since stopped using them and switched to larger, more standard 'probe' style temperature probes

Yup, that's the one I have!

Is Neptune's offering a free replacement or do we purchase a new one? :?

They will replace it free, I would contact Curt at Neptunes system, you will need to send in a copy of your receipt along with the bad probe. It's about a week turnaround.

Ron, the rubber tip and all is in tact.

Shucks, not sure about the receipt!

I will try and contact them.

Thanks guys for the awesome feedback.

I don't recall when our Group Buy took place, but Curt says that the probes are warrantied for 90 days.

Did the rest of you have the problem withing 90 Days?

Need a reply to give him?

Mine died as soon as it touched water but it was the old type, they replaced mine and I also bough a spare just in case. I haven't heard of the new type dying, I would bring that up to him since the new type was supposed to eliminate the premature failures. Tell him that you requested that the new style probe be sent with your ACJr so you wouldn't have to go through this hassle. He should take care of you but be as much of a pain as you can.

Cheers,
