Steve and his wife are out of town, and I'm here stuck with the key to his place. So I figured why not take a few pictures so you can see his pretty corals and fish?

In no particular order....

Sorry about the crappy full tank shot. I thought it was a good one until I saw it on my monitor.

Looking good!!!
I absolutely LOVE the mat of zoanthids! Wish I could get mine to do that...

Great looking tank Steve... Glad you decided not to give up!

And finally here is a 14 meg video of his tank showing off the wave box. The return pump was off for feeding, so the water line is visible in the video. Normally you can't tell when looking at the tank.

In the first pic it’s apparent that all the fishes' attention has turned stage left, probably curious about the stranger at the tank with a camera.

The Copper Band Butterfly whispers to the tang, “Who is this guy?"

. . . and the tang replies, "I don't know but he’s got the turkey baster so smile.” 8)

that is barebottom...he just covered the glass so live rock will not be right on top of the glass... that is my guess

same stuff used for kitchen cutting boards

Steve,

The tank is looking really nice. I dont know how you do it, but those zoos are growing like crazy. I cant seem to get mine to grow above a snails pace. Keep it up.

Thanks for eveyone's comments. A special thanks to Marc for watching my tank while I was gone and taking the time to take/upload photos.

My tank is bare bottom and I have 2 pieces of starboard or HDPE on the bottom. It was purchased at Regal Plastics which can be found on the LFS map if I remeber correctly.

The zoos have been spreading rapidly up until lately. They don't look as open as they usually are and some are even deteriorating. I was having to scrape them off the front glass because the orange ones were growing onto the glass.

It's funny that an SPS dominant tank gets more responses about the zoos rather than the acros! :D

Thanks again for the positive feedback. I appreciate it.

I really enjoyed your SPS while I was there. The zoas are a nice distraction, but I know what's more important.

Thanks for taking a couple of pieces of my milli today. I hope they survive. Once you left, I fragged the colony of about 15 pieces, hoping that something will make it.
