Tanks with PVC/Plywood bottoms.

I had never heard of this kind of tank before today at my LFS.

I was getting ready to order my 300 from a vendor when my LFS called me and offered me a good deal on a 260 7ft tank. The makers do a plywood/ PVC bottom.

Is this a good tank or should i stay with all glass?

What do you think?

My new tank has a PVC bottom. Solid tank, stronger and more reliable than glass. Easily drillable and they can make it black if you want to go bare bottom. I wouldn't be scared of it.

Preferably I would go with age as they actually use a epoxy/adhesive not just silicone glass to PVC. Also age has been making PVC bottom tanks for years so there method is tried and true. While this maker just started recently so who knows what the tank seam history will be
