Tank underlayment needed?

The stand I bought a MACNA is not quite level across the top. Shows up as a small (less than 1/8") gap on the right hand side.

The tank is acrylic (3/8" thick bottom, 1/2" sides -- 20"W x 72"L x 11 3/4" D).

Stand is 1" steel tubing. The issue seems to be caused but one of the two center braces being to high.

Opinions please:

Need a pad between the tank and stand or just let the tank flex to meet the stand?

Best material to use if a pad is required?

I would not take the tank "flex" option.

I have some of the pink insulation sheets seen frequently on other folks tanks. I think it was an 4'x8'. I used like 2'. So I think I have approximately 4'x6'. So it should work for your tank.

Or you can buy it at Home Depot for like $10 for a full sheet.
