I have this week off work, have already received all my equipment, but can't formally set the tank up until probably Wednesday after I get some final touches on the tank performed.
I leave on Friday for vacation out of town - 4 days. would it be a good idea to fill the tank before I get started, get the salinity right, add the sand (arag-alive), MUD in sump, etc, before I left to give it plenty of time to settle and adjust? Or would I be best off just leaving things empty until I return? I was really hoping I would have time to even get the Live Rock in the water before I left. Miss out on a few days of the cycling. If I managed to get to that point before leaving on Friday, again, is that recommended as feasible, or should I just let things be until I return?
I have no desire to rush things. Just is convienent this week since I am off work.
