tank overload

I just aquired two large tangs (both 6"- 7") from a friend who was downsizing his tank. They are now in my 110 gal (25 gal refugium) with 2 - 3" angels, a medium flame hawk, 1 - 4" hippo, a medium clown, and lots of soft corals and live rock. For the past three years I've just done a 10% weekly water change and have not had any problems keeping fish or coral alive. I'm a little nervous now that I may have overstocked the tank. I'm looking for advice on what I should monitor for and if I should start dosing to help keep the water stable.

Any help would be appreciated.

if u have a good skimmer is what maters with tangs. but inmo 6-7" fish in 110 is pushing it on size. i might be interested in one depending on what kind if u want to let one go

Hi,

Those are pretty large tang's in a 110G tank with the amount of waste they produce. Factoring in your existing fish load, you may want to think about rehoming those big guy's.

Cheers,
