tank drilling

I was at fish2morrow today, and I was told there are drill bits that are available for club members. Does anyone know who to contact to get the bits. I want to drill a tank next week or have it drilled. Does anyone with experience have any recommendations for drilling. I've read the instructions online. Everyone seems to say it's easy. I have a tank that's not made anymore, and I don't want to risk breaking it on my first try. I previously saw someone posted about drilling for a fee. Does anyone have a contact to call for that?

I practiced on a cheap 10 gallon tank without a drill guide until I could get it right. If you use a guide, then youll gave a much better chance at success. Its important to remember that you need to let the weight of the drill be the only downward force on the bit and glass, along with keeping the bit cool. Other then that, its pretty easy. Its nerve-wrecking the first time you do it.

There's a thread in the Members Only forum for the glass drilling bits.
