I am looking at alternatives to try and fit a sump I built into my stand. It is small enough to sit in my stand, but just a hair too big to fit in through the doors of my stand.
Cut a hole in the side of your stand and turn it into a door on the side of your stand. I've seen people do this before. I would do that or build a smaller one before I took the frame off the tank.
it might be easier to remove some material/wood from the doorway. if there is a center brace in the doorway, try removing that instead. that's what i did to get a 20L into my stand.
I filled up my 100g before finding out the sump wouldn't fit thru the door. I was able to widen the opening just enough to get it in and the cuts are hidden by the doors when closed.
