T5 on 100 gallon tank

I guess they don't make 5' foot units do they?

Would I need (2) 24" units. Or how would you run T5s on a 5' long tank that is about 20" high?

Sun Light supply has 60" retro kits. You get a ballast for 2 lights, end-caps, wiring harness and reflector. The bulbs are sold seperately so you can choose your own configuration. they have 4 bulb choices.

the 60" T5's are always going to cost considerably more than the 4" equivalent due to supply and demand. that standard tank length is 48" so they make 30 times more 48" than they do 60". You can get the bulbs but expect to pay a premium for them. Like others have said, use a staggered approach and run with 48 incher's. I run 4 48" T5's over my 60" long tank and offset them by 6" from center. I get complete coverage and then some.

I stagger mine over a 6' 150g tank as well, works great!
