Sweeper webs?

I have seen, in the past, in my display tank, spider web-like "sweeper tentacles" being slowly pulled back in to a tiny hole in a rock. It seemed to be gathering bits of things floating in the water that had stuck to its "web". I haven't seen that for some months, until today. Something had made numerous webs of this - quite a lot, actually - and I don't know where it was coming from. I had bought a frag rack of zoas a couple of months ago that had something on it that would regularly extend a sweeper, but never investigated what it was. Anyone have any thoughts? I wonder what made whatever it is decide to do all of this today. Thanks!

I did not think to take pictures.

maybe spaghetti worms? research it on google or yahoo. my buddy has these in his tank and it was because he fed WAY too much. they make little tube like things and let out a web to troll for food. maybe this helps.

I found this picture where the web looks like what I have seen in my tank from time to time. Only today it was lots of it!

Thanks for the info, guys! I have never seen the actual snail, but I will try to identify it. So far the vermitid looks like a good candidate.
