I woke up this morning and wandered down to make coffee as I usually do. With coffee in hand, I went to the aquarium room to check it out before the light go on. After looking into the tank for a few mins and checking out the frag setup, I noticed some water at the base of the DT stand. This is never a good sign. So I check all the normal things, IE. level of water in sump, level of water in the remote skimmer area, level of water in the frag setup sump and everything looks to be in order. I look behind the tank and behold my 5 gal jug used to hold skim mate runneth over. Looks like someone forgot to empty the skimmate reservoir. DOH!!! 3 towels, 2 cups of coffee and 1 trip to the front yard to dump out the reservoir and I am back up and running per normal.
How come the surprises I get from my tank are never of the "Oh what a cool coral hitchhiker" variety? [smilie=rofl.gif]
